Bei unserem ersten Treffen werden wir gemeinsam Ihre Ziele, Interessen und Sprachbedürfnisse bestimmen.
Danach werde ich Ihnen einige Optionen für unsere Arbeit vorschlagen und dann mit Ihnen einen massgeschneiderten Kurs aufstellen.
Ihr regelmässiges Feedback wird in den Unterricht miteingebunden, um den Kurs so flexibel wie möglich zu gestalten und ihn an Ihre Bedürfnisse anzupassen.
Als Diplompsychologin habe ich ein vertieftes Verständnis für den KOGNITIVEN? Aspekt des Fremdsprachenstudiums und kann Ihnen somit wertvolle Tips geben, die das Lernen erleichtern können.
Ich besitze ein TESOL Zertifikat und bin somit eine ausgebildete Lehrerin für Englisch als Fremdsprache und habe fachkundige Techniken, um Kunden zu motivieren, mehr Englisch zu sprechen.
Ich spreche "BBC Englisch", kenne mich aber auch mit den verschiedenen anderen Dialekten der Sprache sehr gut aus.

Persönliches

In meiner Freizeit gehe ich sehr gerne mit meiner Familie und unserem Goldenen Retriever im Wienerwald spazieren und liebe die Bergen und das Meer. Mich interessiert eigentlich alles! Literatur, Kunst, Politik und Naturwissenschaften. Ich setze mein Wissen in der Praxis um, mache Yoga und verfasse Texte.

I create, design and deliver popular tailored courses. All materials and training are tailored to your needs and I have helped many clients prepare for their successful presentations, interviews and assessment days. I also have considerable experience in adapting clients' own material (including contracts, promotional material & industry reports). I also train groups - including multi-level or multi-interest groups.
As I have legal and management experience I understand your professional needs – especially the need to make the most efficient use of our time together. At our first meeting I will interview you to find out your goals, interests and language needs. I will then propose a number of options for our work together and work with you on the course that you prefer. I regularly ask you for feedback and am very flexible and adaptable to your changing needs.

Training approach

As I have a psychology degree, I have a deep understanding of the psychology of language learning which I can share with you. I can also give you training in useful techniques to improve your language-learning skills for the future.
I have a TESOL certificate so I have been trained to use a wide range of materials and to encourage you to use English as much as possible.
I speak standard BBC British English but also have considerable knowledge of the wide variety of English spoken around the world.
